ASSET

Canadian civilian, Eric Blair’s life is thrown into chaos when the C.I.A. decides he’s their last chance to get close to international arms dealer Valentin Lazerev due to Eric’s high school romance with Nadja, Valentin’s now wife. Eric has to risk his life, without the intensive training and high tech gadgets afforded to most spies. To make things even more complicated, Eric’s falling for Nadja all over again.

STARGAZE

A disparate group of rookie oddballs join an elite squad commissioned to save the Queerverse (from itself)—only to discover the STARGAZE program is a sham make-work initiative designed to keep the crew from rocking the boat by sending them out on a fool’s quest led by two elder queer chaperones who despise each other.

As a Co-founder and first Executive Director of the Independent Web Series Creators of Canada (a non-profit professional association), Carrie steered the world’s first economic profile on web series (through the generous support of the OMDC and produced by Nordicity), and was the Co-Producer for web series festival/conference TO Webfest’s inaugural year. She also wrote the successful IPF application for ASSET, and produced and hosted the annual festival: Coming Soon Trailer Fest.
