Since 2010, Carrie Cutforth has been at the forefront of cutting-edge storytelling in Canada. She has served as the roles of consultant, advisor, producer, and evaluator for all types of interactive projects including VR, AR, transmedia, web series, alternate reality games, and more. She has also served on numerous interactive storytelling/screen-content boards and juries in including the Canadian Screen Awards for Cross-Platform categories, and has spoken and lectured at various conferences and universities on transmedia and interactive storytelling.
She was the transmedia producer of the televised documentary Talent Hounds, and employed transmedia/social media storytelling strategies to run a successful crowdfunding campaign for the indie film All Possible Worlds.
A former co-founder of the community building group Transmedia 101 (2010-2012), Carrie is the current chair of Sheridan’s Professional Advisory Council’s CCIT program.
